She walks and talks... A lot!

February is shaping up to be a VERY busy month around the Klimstra house.  We'll be traveling to NC twice!  Can't wait!

As for now we're enjoying weekends at home and the warmer winter we've been having.  Natalie walks everywhere and makes an effort to run when she knows you are after her.  It.Is.Adorable.

She's talking a lot more now too - she attempts to repeat everything you say, but it doesn't always come out just right.
Here is a running tally of words she knows well and uses frequently:
Baby
Puppy
Daddy
Debbie (Ms. Debbie her baby school teacher)
Coe-Coe (Roscoe)
Yucky
Bye Bye
Pretty
Hi
Mama (although this is rare these days)
Papaw
Ka-Kee (Katherine, her cousin)
Kiwi
Okay
Yay! (usually while clapping her hands)
Boo! (as in Peek-a-Boo)

She says lots more "words" but we don't always understand.  We're pretty sure we hear "please, thank you, silly, turkey, monkey, moon, sky, bird" but not with any regularity.

She's also finding her voice and with that attempting to make the shrillest sound possible - usually while she's eating dinner and especially while we're walking Roscoe.  The entire neighborhood knows when Natalie is out for a walk!

We can't wait to visit with Nana, Pops and Aunt Erin and to see the entire Thomas family in a couple weeks.

Here are just a couple pictures (taken with my phone so please excuse the poor quality) of Natalie's pink cowboy boots (thanks Da-DEE) and her in action!

Natalie - on the move!

Yes indeed, apparently every girl needs pink cowboy boots!

  1. I can't wait for your visit and to chase little Natalie around a little bit. Ka-Kee is looking forward to seeing her cousin!
