Easter at home

Since Natalie and I had to rush home on Saturday due to her tummy woes we were at home with Daddy to celebrate Easter.  Natalie still wasn't quite 100% and the weather was poor at best, so we decided to stay inside and make the best of the day.

Here is Natalie's Easter basket!

She was excited to see what treats she got!
After the Easter basket, it was time to do a little egg hunting around the house.

We were surprised by her method.  When she found an egg, she would open it immediately, put the treats, goldfish, whatever into her bucket and throw the opened egg down and move on.  She didn't eat any of them right away, but was only interested in having TREATS in the bucket, no eggs.
Here are the pictures to prove it! :)

The goods...

A Blue one!

Run Run Run!

Empty eggshells everywhere!

It was a massacre!

And finally the treats! :)
We were definitely sad to miss out on Easter egg celebrations with the rest of the family but happy we got to celebrate a bit at home with Daddy.

We are looking forward to healthier days ahead and a very exciting Summer!
